Vedic Flow respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app stores, why it is used, and how you can control your data.
Personal Profile: To generate your birth chart, we store your name, birth date, exact birth time, and birth city. This data is stored locally on your device.
Location Data: If you grant permission, we use your device GPS coordinates to calculate location-accurate Panchang for where you are "Right Now". This data is processed on-device and is not used for tracking your history.
Usage Data: We may collect anonymized usage information (e.g., screen views, button clicks) via Google Firebase Analytics to improve the app experience.
Ask the Stars: When you chat with the AI, the app sends your question along with relevant profile details (Name, Birth details, and today's Panchang) to Google Gemini (Firebase AI) to provide grounded and personalized guidance. Your conversations are stored locally on your device.
Palm Reading: If you use the Palm Reading feature, the image of your palm is sent to Google Gemini for analysis. This image is used strictly for the request and is not stored permanently by our developer servers.
AI Grounding: Personal data sent to AI models is used only as "context" for your session and is subject to Google's Cloud and AI privacy protections.
LocalStorage: Profile settings, birth details, and chat history are stored on your device using encrypted storage.
Cloud Services: We use Google Firebase Firestore to fetch global festival data and store anonymized configuration settings. Your personal birth details are not sent to our servers for storage and remain under your control on your device.
Vedic Flow is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You have full control over your data. You can update your profile in Settings at any time.
You can wipe all stored data including profile, locations, and chat history by using the "Danger Zone" option in Settings or by uninstalling the app.
